Footsteps of Rain

Written for the time when the last train has left and you still haven't found where to go home. You can go home — but you know no one waits there. That cold. I didn't want music that says 'it's okay.' So this piece encourages nothing. The rain just keeps falling, the corridor stays long, the phone receiver stays off the hook. Loneliness isn't an illness to cure. It's something you occasionally just sit beside.
